Dusts ECU
well, the time has come to make the decision on the actual ECU to use.
I've been buying sensors, 7 for various air temps, 7 for various air pressures, 2 for cam position, for a few years, spark plug converters, injectors, 12 coils and jobs for the ECU to perform. Run the engine, heh heh heh Control both turbos run rich on climb and lean of peak in cruise trim fuel to each cylinder to keep heat in line, A/F determines CHT's and EGT's spent 3 hours studying one available unit from haltech. Many hours of studying left to do before i make a decision Have been putting this off as well as learning about electricity, nows the time

What a PIA, last evening i spent 3 hours reading ECU manuals. going through the major mfg's.
Haltech appears to have one unit that may work. If you are going to use it, you better understand it. BTW, ecu stand for engine control unit, it will control spark and fuel and in my case, boost/ the turbos

well, one of the major ECU mfg's is in metro detroit, talked to a local distributor and asked him if they had a tech expert to help me tune my engine.
YES, not only a tech guy, the factory tech rep for the product is local! Talked to him and outlined my objectives, among them to modify the program so that all fuel and spark tables max out at 3,000 rpm and the related maps have smaller rpm ranges to interpolate the data from. answer - yep no problem

been wondering what wires to use, just read this
"The spark plug wires that Klaus uses are the MSD 8.5mm resistor type. "
