Default Extra schmart member

So mplafleur bought me a book so i could gets more book schmarts. it is on picking an ECU (engine control unit)

It is by the guy that stated "EFI University", a company that teaches how to tune cars to professionals and hard core amateurs from the ground up using any and almost all of the ECU (engine control units) on the market. Most of the ECU mfg.'s recommend him/EFI university. good stuff

So I read the book, learn allot - tanka you mplafleur - and there is a separate chapter on most of the manufacturers. tells you what each unit can and cannot do, yada, yada, yada, GREAT stuff and required reading ifin you are lookin at ECU's.

NONE of the units are recommended, EXCEPT the last one in the book, the Racetech, inc unit called SDS - Simple Digital Systems. The Author highly recommends the unit.

So, why do we care - cause it is "rv6ejguy" unit. We gots some really schmart people here that not only talk - dey do it. when rv6ejguy talks - listen carefully - he knows his stuff and I am very appreciative that he has spent years of his valuable time trying to help me learn the engine tuning and set up ropes.

thanks rv6ejguy - i appreciate it greatly

Dust, old boy, you're makin' me blush. I just love airplanes and flying them. If I can help anyone out to make their dream fly better, sooner or safer, I'd be happy to.

I've learned a lot here and am facinated to hear other's experiences building, flying, testing etc., even if you guys and girrrls have the stab er canard on the "wrong" end.

We RVers have our problems as well so I won't Rub your Noses in stories of Prop Strikes. Oooh sorry for the pun. What can I say. We envy your smooth bodies but don't want to admit it. Our buckled and puckered riveted, airframes cannot approach thy exquisite beauty of your glass creations.

Ahh well our crates fly real swell anyway. Watch your sixes!
